Description
This rambling summer cottage is located in a private setting down a country road and is wonderful spot to spend those lazy, hazy days of summer. All rooms are on one floor. It is casual in feel, but it is well equipped and comfortable with beautiful light. Enjoys views of Katama Bay from the front decks.
The walk to the community beach is about 10 mins down the sandy driveway. Trails to the Packard Preserve, the view of Katama Bay, Quammox and Poucha Pond are all at your doorstep. There is an area for 2 cars to park down at the bay and this can be useful if you have kayaks, paddle boards or other ways to get out on the water.
The Chappy Community Center is a wonderful resource, offering ice cream socials, events, lectures and access to ping pong, tennis and basketball courts. Slip Away Farm is another treasure, selling beautiful fresh produce, flowers and island goods in their farm store or roadside stand.
