Description
This beautifully maintained house benefits from its quiet, East Chop location and wonderful views of Nantucket Sound. The beach is only a 3 minute walk and the town of Oak Bluffs is a short 10 minute stroll along the harbor or a 5 minute bike ride.
There is a large porch with comfortable sofas and arm chairs as well as a large dining table and chairs. It is an ideal place to read a book, sip a cold drink, eat lunch or a family dinner or watch the sunrise or the ferries and sailboats as they pass by.
The sunny, newly renoveted kitchen is fully equipped for cooking for crowds, the dining room has a large table for up to 10 and the sitting room is stylishly and comfortably furnished. An ideal home for a large family vacation.
The ground floor has a bedroom and bathroom that is ideal for grandparents. The second floor has 2 full bathrooms and 4 bedrooms - 1 twin-bedded, 1 queen furnished with a small child's bed, 1 double and 1 king sized (with a private terrace, accessed through french doors and with uninterrupted views of Oak Bluffs Harbor). Enjoy the outdoor shower and the hammock slung between shade trees in the side yard - ideal for an afternoon nap.
Cooking options include a large gas grill for BBQ's and a fully fitted kitchen with 2 ovens and a relax and eat out at one of the many excellent restaurants on the Island.
